SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA OF SKIN HAVING NECROSIS RESEMBLING EPITHELIOID SARCOMA
This was from a lesion on the face of an elderly gentleman. This clinical information would be much more consistent with a diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma than of epithelioid sarcoma.

Low power of an area of tumor necrosis (same as in right side of picture above). Note the resemblance of this to necrosis seen in epithelioid sarcomas.
