GLOMUS TUMOR
Glomus tumors are composed of a monotonous population of small round cells that are associated with variably vascular stroma. The stroma may be myxoid (uncommonly). The most vascular are classified as glomangiomas. Lesions that contain smooth muscle cells or prominent spindle cells may be classified as glomangiomyomas. Glomus tumors may be painful.
