CHONDROID SYRINGOMA (BENIGN MIXED TUMOR OF SKIN) HAVING SMALL, TUBULAR LUMINA AND INDISTINCT MARGINS

Many chondroid syringomas having small, tubular lumina have sharply delimited margins, but occasional examples, such as this one, have margins that are less distinct. However, this is not evidence of aggressive behavior.

Biopsy of a subcutaneous mass from the suprapubic area of an elderly female. The character of the tumor was the same in the subsequent excisional specimen.
